Keith Midgette will provide the first of two lectures on basic navigation for the yachtsman. For seasoned mariners, it will be a review of skills that are almost second nature. For some, it might provide some new knowledge that may be helpful. This lecture will primarily discuss navigation terms of reference, chart projections, and navigation tools.
